The Jack A. Claes Pavilion opened its doors in 1994 and has become a vital part of the Elk Grove Village Community. Entering into its 17th year the building site and some of its amenities are in need of renovation. Over the past few years there has been much formal research along with resident and staff input into the future of the facility. Starting in the summer of 2011 we will see the parking lot reconstruction and the HVAC system replacement. The time has come to replace and modernize the aquatic center .The indoor and outdoor lap pools are over 40 years old and have served us well. The building improvements and the entire aquatic renovation will be phased in starting as early as 2014. The Elk Grove Park District prides itself on customer service and fiscal responsibility. We guarantee the least amount of impact to our customers throughout the construction process. Please review the 9 slides that depict the schemes and proposed plan. The frequently asked questions are listed for your information. We welcome your feedback.
