The Elite Company is the Pavilion Dance Centre’s performance company headed by Director Alyssa Ditch and Assistant Director Christina Merrill.  With a main focus on dance, the company also includes young performing artists from other disciplines.  Our goal is to share our love for performing with the community through a handful of short, entertaining shows. 

Elite’s dedicated performers focus on learning and performing custom-written skits throughout the year which are put together at the end of the season for a feature-length show.

Perform – Elite performs an average of once a month at a variety of venues.  Work on your stage presence or just have fun showing off your talent.

Meet new friends – Because Elite is interdisciplinary, you can be introduced to other kids that you might not meet during your normal activities.  You could also discover your friends’ hidden talents, or maybe one of your own!

Learn about interdisciplinary performances – When a show has lots of moving parts, it takes a different kind of rehearsal to make it happen.   Take the skills you’ve learned in your art and take them to another level by cooperating with other artists.

Be seen in your community and beyond – Elite has been invited to perform at several Park District events throughout the year as well as additional performances such as the Partnerships Walk at Montrose Harbor in Chicago.
