Extended Care Option

We offer an extended care option for Camp Explorer, Camp Voyager, Sports Camp, Summer Scene, and Skate Camp. Sunny Side Up and Extra Innings will be in the Pavilion Fieldhouse Gym. The Pavilion program will serve Camp Explorer and Camp Voyager campers. Sportsters, Sports Camp, Summer Scene and Audubon Skate Camp campers will be shuttled to the Pavilion.

Hot Lunch Option

The Elk Grove Park District and Rocco Vino’s work together to provide our campers hot lunch. Hot lunches include items such as pizza, chicken tenders, panzerotti, hot dogs, and much more! Child must sign up for the entire week. Registration deadline is the Wednesday prior to that week.

Scheduled Payment / Option

There is a $25 per week deposit to hold your child’s place in a camp with scheduled payments. This fee will be deducted from the total cost of camp. At the time of registration the balance due must be guaranteed with authorization on a credit card or a check, which will be processed on the scheduled payment dates. Camp registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Scheduled payments will be processed as follows:

• Camp sessions / weeks
  • 1 - 4 / on May 20
  • 5 - 8 / on June 20
  • 9 - 10 / on July 20

Swimming Lessons Option

All ages and levels are offered. If your camper signs up for day camp swim lessons, a camp counselor will escort your child from camp to his/her lesson that day during camp swim time. Your child will also be escorted back to his/her day camp and can be picked up at the regular camp location. Lessons are held twice per week for three weeks. Each class is 40 minutes long.

Extended Care - Hattendorf is not available through HotReg Online Registration. Please call 847-364-7224 for details or sign up at the Al Hattendorf Center Customer Service Desk.

Early Fun

Do you need early morning care for your Fun in the Sun camper? We are offering supervised playtime starting at 7:15 am Monday - Friday at the Hattendorf Center. Children may bring their own breakfast. We will escort your child to camp.
